    Focal Point is seeking a senior capture executive to create new Federal government business opportunities across all company service offerings. This is a unique opportunity for a creative business development professional to work with a company delivering cutting edge products and services.


    Candidates must have a demonstrable track record leading the pursuit of and winning business with military and civilian government agencies.  Experience should include: opportunity identification, lead development, RFP response preparation and award negotiation and management of large-scale ($100M), complex procurements.


    • Leverage established relationships in the Federal government procurement community to identify opportunities for Focal Point services and offerings
    • Drive overall capture efforts for the company, including but not limited to:
      • lead development,
      • capture strategy,
      • market and competitive assessment,
      • action plan,
      • bid team assembly,
      • proposal pricing, and
      • award negotiations.
    • Prepare necessary risk and ROI assessments of opportunities
    • Ability to work collaboratively across organization areas
    • Opportunity to build and lead capture team
    • Proven ability to work with senior management to assemble an integrated account management team for successful bids
    • Manage key stakeholder relationships:
      • Internally, with management/leadership team and practice management leaders,
      • Externally, with prospective customers and clients.


    • 12-15 years of experience managing complex procurements and successful capture efforts with civilian and military agencies
    • Proven team leadership and organizational management are essential
    • Knowledge of and direct work experience with government agencies and programs and the government sales cycle, including the lead/planning times
    • Proven financial management and skills in the development of budgets and pricing for government procurement
    • TS/SCI clearance
    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience), advanced degree and project management a plus


    CLEARANCE:  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.


    LOCATION:  Washington, DC based, with the ability to travel as necessary.
