    The OIM Solutions Architect brings subject matter expertise and technical/project leadership to Focal Point’s IAM engagements. Overall, the OIM Solutions Architect is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, monitoring, and delivering the project team’s IAM solutions and services to our clients.



    The everyday responsibilities of this role include:

    • Design and lead the integrations of large and complex enterprise-wide IAM platforms for major clients, interfacing with their senior executives.
    • Assume a creative leadership role to implement the business and/or technology engineering strategy efficiently and effectively.
    • Demonstrate and discuss the value, design, and capabilities of new business solutions offered by the latest IDM technologies.
    • Actively seek to identify, develop, and strengthen new business opportunities and client relationships.
    • Interface with internal and external resources to develop business proposals and project bids.
    • Oversee the accuracy, applicability, and estimated costs of proposed client solutions, including a project’s main value proposition for a business.
    • Maintain Focal Point’s architectural guidelines to ensure the quality of our IAM solutions.


    The high-level responsibilities of this role include:

    • Offer thought leadership and knowledge transference to company and client project team members.
    • Consistently maintain and foster awareness of industry best practices.
    • Strengthen relationships with IAM industry leaders and professionals.
    • Provide Subject Matter Expertise towards authoring technology- and business-related whitepapers and industry articles.
    • Regularly attend, network, and present at industry conferences.



    • 10+ years in an SME-level IAM role, specifically for at least one of the following:
      • Oracle Identity Manager
      • Oracle Unified Directory / Oracle Directory Services Enterprise Edition / Oracle Internet Directory / Oracle Virtual Directory
      • Oracle HTTP Server
      • Oracle Weblogic Server
      • Oracle Database


    • Oracle Identity and Access Management:
      • Directory/Meta-directory services
      • Single Sign-On, Web Access Management
      • Federated Authentication/SAML
      • User Lifecycle Management/Provisioning
      • Role Based Access Control
      • Password Management
      • Web Services integration
      • PKI
    • General knowledge of Unix / Linux / Windows Server, Databases, & Networking
    • Can manage IAM teams of practitioners, including architects, technologists, and consultants
    • Infrastructure expertise (Unix/Linux, Web/TCPIP networking, Windows Server)
    • J2EE development, Database development backgrounds
    • Excellent communication skills – oral and written

    Desired Qualifications & Skills

    Oracle Identity and Access Management product certifications, such as:

    • OIM, OAM, OAAM, & OVD
    • Knowledge of:
      • Sailpoint IIQ
      • Identity Now
      • Security Now
      • CyberArk

     Travel Requirements

    • Up to 50% of this position includes travel

    Education & Certifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree – or equivalent knowledge
