    The Accounting Intern is responsible for the execution of tasks supporting the Accounting team. Working with Accounting Department, he/she assists with month end close process, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general ledger associated tasks.  This role interacts with various Accounting & Finance team members as well as Shared Services personnel. Requirements include attention to detail, an interest in general accounting, project costing, G/L reconciliations and reporting.



    • Assist team members with month end close and other general reconciliations
    • Assist team members with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
    • Become familiar with the Sage-Intacct software platform and its capabilities
    • Perform other general accounting tasks as needed
    • Perform supervised and instructional administrative tasks as needed



    • Communications Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the capability of communicating effectively with internal and external sources.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with experience building solid relationships with both internal team members and external customers.
    • Time and Project Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task various priorities on a daily basis. Ability to bring projects to completion eliciting the collaborations of interdepartmental team members
    • Initiative: Capable of self-managed initiative. Does not require leadership to constantly push initiative for maximum level of efforts.
    • Creativity: Ability to come up with a variety of approaches to problem solving. Uses creative ways to solve problems.


    • Currently pursuing a University Degree, preferably with a financial accounting focus


    Technical Requirements:

    • Demonstrates technical aptitude
    • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
