    The Cyber Security Sales Engineer adapts Focal Point’s products and services to meet current and prospective customers’ needs.  They partner with business development representatives to analyze existing cyber security teams’ needed skills and align them with Focal Point’s workforce development curriculum.   

    Responsibilities

    • Learn the technical objectives and overview of all Academy’s portfolio
    • Actively support new business opportunities by attending meetings and preparing solution-based proposals
    • Map technical learning objectives and outcomes to prospects defined Cyber Security Roles
    • Create and Deliver powerful presentations that demonstrate proposed solutions
    • Support sales team’s quota attainment
    • Support development team by providing consolidated feedback on current and emerging customer trends
    • Monitor technical, cost and schedule performance on a formal and informal basis to ensure that specified objectives are met
    • Other duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology or training industry
    • Proven track record of successful proposal submissions and account servicing

    Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or commensurate experience.

     

    Technical Requirements:

    • Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Salesforce or other CRM platform

    Travel Required: Moderate travel may be required.
